Course Details

Registration is now open for our next live CCE course, Coaching with Creativity, Playfulness, Curiosity & Wonder, facilitated by Danielle Palli. In this session, participants will learn how to integrate creative and playful approaches into coaching in a way that enhances presence, builds trust, and supports insight - while staying grounded in ethical coaching practice.

This course emphasizes the use of creativity, mindfulness, and curiosity as tools to help clients move beyond habitual thinking patterns and access new perspectives. Participants will explore how to use these approaches responsibly, honoring each client’s beliefs, cultural context, and lived experience.

The session will include:

  • A framework for using playfulness and creativity to evoke client awareness
  • Techniques such as journaling, visualization, drawing, movement, and music to support insight and problem-solving
  • Strategies for coaching beyond limiting beliefs and habitual “shoulds”
  • Guidance on integrating intuition in an ICF-aligned, non-authoritative way
  • Best practices for maintaining ethical boundaries, emotional safety, and coaching scope

 


 

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Use playfulness and creativity to ethically evoke awareness in coaching sessions
  • Apply a variety of creative tools to support client insight and growth
  • Help clients move beyond habitual thinking and limiting patterns
  • Incorporate intuition in a way that aligns with ICF standards
  • Integrate clients’ belief systems and cultural contexts into coaching conversations
  • Strengthen coaching presence, listening skills, and rapport-building
  • Create emotional safety through clear consent, boundaries, and pacing
  • Use mindfulness-based tools appropriately within coaching sessions
  • Maintain clear distinctions between coaching and therapy, including referral boundaries

Course Agenda

0:00 – 0:15: Welcome, orientation, ethical framing, and group agreements
0:15 – 0:45: Defining playfulness, curiosity, and wonder in coaching
0:45 – 1:00: Research on the benefits of play, positivity, and the Broaden-and-Build Theory
1:00 – 1:30: Building trust, emotional safety, and maintaining ethical boundaries
1:30 – 2:00: Experiential demonstrations and practical application

 


 

Instructor Bio and Qualifications

Danielle Palli
Danielle Palli is a National Board Certified Positive Psychology & Mindfulness Coach, multi-genre author, and experienced workshop facilitator. She has led workshops and webinars since 2006 and brings nearly two decades of experience in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness-based education.

She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Writing from Chatham University and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media and Global Communications from NYU. Danielle is also an ordained Interfaith Minister and the author of ten books focused on wellbeing, creativity, and personal growth.

Through her work with Spring Health, she specializes in coaching related to stress reduction, creativity, relationships, confidence building, career transitions, and purpose-driven living, with a strong emphasis on ethical, client-centered practice aligned with ICF Core Competencies.
