Professional, clear communication with our internal teams helps you deliver faster, better care to your clients.
Why Collaboration Matters?
We all share the same goal: supporting our members. When you interact with any of the Spring Health teams, your tone sets the stage for how quickly we can solve problems. Professional collaboration keeps the focus on the member.
Collaborating Effectively
Work moves faster when we speak plainly and respectfully.
Keep these habits in mind during your interactions:
- Stay solution-focused: If you hit a roadblock, come to the conversation with a goal. Frame issues around how to best support the member’s progress.
- Keep it direct: Clearly state your question or concern in your first message. This saves time for everyone involved.
- Check your tone: Even when you are frustrated, keep your language professional. Treat our staff like the colleagues they are.
- Be timely: Respond to outreach as fast as you can. If you need more time, just tell us. Most complaints we receive would be avoided by simple ongoing communication.
Handling Disagreements
It is normal to have different opinions on a case or a process. We truly value your clinical expertise, and we encourage professional debate. If you disagree with feedback:
- Ask for clarity: Request more information if the feedback feels unclear.
- State your clinical rationale: Explain your reasoning behind a specific decision.
The Bottom Line
Professional disagreement is fine. Unprofessional conduct is not. We expect everyone at Spring Health to remain respectful, even in tough situations. When we communicate well, our members see the benefit.
